Говорят, из фильма был вырезан эпизод: Чо Ин поднимается после финального падения и уходит в свет, навстречу улыбающейся матери.

На английском (из обсуждения фильма):

There is a deleted scene where he (Kyu Nam) sees Cho In, after he has died from the fall, walking away from the parking lot towards a light, finding his mother waiting for him with a smile.

I guess the scene seemed a bit too corny and also a bit too "revealing" of things that are better left more mysterious in such a movie. It has to do with superpowers so maybe they did want the "other side" element to be there, but without it getting too strong.

Also, Cho In had done some pretty bad things so maybe they didn't want to judge "where" he would go. And since the mother was there, I guess she killed herself, but maybe they felt that was also a bit too much and removed the scene from the final cut.
